Flu

We're on the second day of drinks and movies. Peter seems to be the worst with the flu. Becky thought she was getting better but did not much but sit yesterday. And now Grace is complaining of a headache and fever. AJ, coughing a lot and looking less than perfect, braved errands with me with his regular good pluck; we mailed two cases of LWWS for Susan. But now I am aching a little. Could be too much salt yesterday and no lap swimming. I did accounting all morning and STILL can't figure out how we owe the dentist anything. But I'm putting that aside for another day. The mail brought a coupon for two free movies from Blockbuster so we'll watch Madagascar tonight and maybe Hitchhiker's Guide tomorrow. (I'm prepared to be disappointed, but Blockbuster doesn't carry old comedy like Laurel and Hardy.) Cal is with Susan in warm, sunny Minnesota: it's 45 degrees up there! So it is as good a time as ever to be taking off for "sick days" here. At this rate we'll be attending EBC online this coming Lord's Day. Just praying Becky will be well enough to hear Itzhak Perlman on Monday night, perhaps with two surrogate parents.
