Bag End Study Center
I love it! There is a 72-year-old theologian cooped up in Susan's room rewriting a commentary. And a 34-year-old candidate for the ministry taking a Greek exam at my kitchen table. An eleven-year-old reading a book while tipping her chair in the library. Peter has just helped himself to some of last night's sovereignty supper leftovers for "lunch" at 4:15 p.m. Becky is attending the laundry. I am going to return to accounting in a minute. Cal is doing laps at the pool after a morning of sleep (he read Luther sermons in the wee hours), conversations with Henry whom we finally disturbed with a cup of coffee mid-morning when we hadn't seen him at all, and a few emails. My house already feels like the study center it looks like.
